With the Richy confectionery brand, Hoàng Mai Trading and Production Company is one of 124 businesses honored at the National Brand 2020 award ceremony on November 25. This program was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the National Brand Council, selected based on a number of criteria, and went through thorough, strict evaluation stages.

According to entrepreneur Trần Sỹ Trực, the owner of the Richy confectionery brand, since he decided to establish the company and founded this brand, he has boldly set the goal of "Becoming the leading confectionery production brand in Vietnam, bringing Vietnamese confectionery quintessence to the world."
Having worked and lived abroad for a long time, Mr. Trực had the opportunity to contact and learn about the world's food production sector. He realized that Vietnam has all the strengths and conditions to develop the food industry, from abundant raw materials, cheap labor, to high consumer demand...
Therefore, Mr. Trực brought all the experience and knowledge he learned from the countries to invest in a production plant, put his heart and soul into research, and produced the first confectionery products under the Richy brand.

Not stopping at investing, improving, and innovating, to date, Richy has produced hundreds of items, with over 20 products that are loved by consumers: Rice cakes; butter eggs; cookies; oatmeal cookies; soft chocolate-covered cakes (Peppie), Majestic cookies...
As of November this year, Richy has exported its products to 30 countries, including countries with strict quality regulations such as Japan, South Korea, the United States..., gradually realizing the goal of bringing Vietnamese confectionery products to the international market, competing with world confectionery brands.

Representing the company to receive the award, Mr. Trực shared: “Receiving the National Brand of the Year 2020, we are proud and have more motivation to continue on the new journey. We will strive even harder to ensure quality, meet strict criteria before bringing products to consumers in Vietnam and internationally.”
The year 2020 was also a breakthrough year when the company made its mark on the confectionery market with the product Karo fresh egg waffles - the "waffle of Vietnamese people". From the characteristic European cake, with pure Vietnamese ingredients of dried meat and fish sauce, Richy created Karo that is close to the taste of Asian consumers.
As soon as it was released, this product was warmly received with many positive feedbacks. In November, Karo was ranked 1 in "Vietnamese goods loved by consumers in 2020".

With the receipt of the title "National Brand", each Richy product will be more prestigious and confident when it enters the international market. Richy's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Trần Sỹ Trực, said that Richy will continue to invest, research and develop new projects, produce products that meet the tastes of consumers, while ensuring the criteria for nutrition and quality.
